On Tuesday, Key Stage 2 pupils gathered for a lively and interactive assembly, where Bertulis shared her passion for language and her belief that poetry can unlock creativity in everyone.
To mark National Poetry Day, she introduced pupils to her special “poetry toolbox” – a set of imaginative techniques to help them experiment with words, rhythm and imagery. Her engaging approach encouraged pupils to see poetry not as something confined to the page, but as a way of expressing their own voices and experiences.
