Kimbolton’s U14A boys’ hockey team enjoyed a superb day in Cambridge on 15 January 2026, securing 1st place in the Tier 2 County Round of the English Schools Hockey Trophy.

Competing against strong opposition in challenging, rain-soaked conditions, the team showed impressive progress at this early stage of the season. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, composure and resilience, holding their nerve in several close matches to emerge deserved county winners. Special congratulations go to Cayden M., Alfie G., Thomas D. and Ollie F., who were praised for their consistency and impact across all three games.
