Fitness Challenge Raises Over £3,400 for Charity

On 11 January, six boys from Year 12 organised and hosted a charity fitness event for Year 12 and 13 boys and teachers.

The event supported Child Bereavement UK and Gingerbread, a national charity for single parents. These two organisations have personal significance to the organisers, which made the day particularly meaningful.

Over 50 participants took part, completing a challenging circuit made up of eight stations. These included sled pulls, skierg, rowing machines and running between each exercise. The scale and intensity of the event was impressive, and competitors were pushed to their physical limits, though we did adapt exercises to allow children aged six and eight to take part, which was brilliant to see.
