Shrewsbury has been named a finalist in the Community Engagement and Charity Fundraising category at Talk Education’s 2025 Awards for Innovation in Education.

This accolade celebrates the commitment of our staff, pupils, and partners to making a meaningful and positive difference beyond the academic sphere. It reflects our ethos of whole person education and, with Old Salopian Charles Darwin’s legacy in mind, our aspiration to promote the ‘survival of the kindest’.

This recognition sits alongside a distinguished record of achievement across the school community. Recent highlights include Shrewsbury’s place among the World’s Top 100 Private Schools and Top 25 UK Senior Schools in the Spear’s School Index 2025, shortlisting for Boarding School of the Year at the Independent School of the Year Awards 2025, and the Oppidan Mentoring Gold Award, among many others listed below.
