Oakham School Joins the Herd: Celebrating STOMP Round Leicester

Oakham School is proud to have taken part in the unforgettable STOMP Round Leicester project – a city-wide trail of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures, created to raise funds and awareness for LOROS Hospice.

Reflecting on the project, Head of Voluntary Action, Monica Fernandez, said: “Elephants are remarkable creatures, known for their long lives and powerful memories. They form deep social bonds, celebrate together, and mourn together – much like us. For patients and families at LOROS Hospice, memories offer comfort, connection, and a way to honour the time they have. That’s why being part of STOMP Round Leicester has meant so much to our school community.”
