Mrs Cavanagh Appointed as Head of Burgess Hill Girls

Following a successful year as our Interim Head, we are delighted to confirm the permanent appointment of Heather Cavanagh as the Head of Burgess Hill Girls. 

Throughout this academic year Mrs Cavanagh has demonstrated exceptional leadership, warmth, and a deep commitment to our community. Under her leadership, the school has thrived both academically and pastorally, and she has a clear vision for the future of Burgess Hill Girls.   

The Board of Governors undertook a thorough, thoughtful and robust process to appoint a permanent Head, supported by an experienced retired Head and professional recruitment consultant to ensure the school confidently begins this next chapter.
